A 99% survival rate doesn’t mean people want to suffer with this virus! More children and younger people are contracting it more. So while we isolate the elderly and expose the work force blindly who’s going to do the Surviving social distancing one cat at a time shirt when 99% of workers need 3 weeks to a month to recover? So if new cases are coming from home isolationist what’s going to happen when we let loose? Did you not read my post? Yearly physicals and medication monitoring blood work are different and paid for. Medical lab scientist? That’s a fancy name for an but ok. In no hospital or clinic I worked did we ever do blood work on a healthy asymptomatic patient for no reason, insurances won’t pay for it, but since you’re a scientist I’ll defer to your expertise. You want to live in fear and what if’s, it’s a free country and it’s your choice to do so. Have a nice day. I know they do, I watch the press conferences, that wasn’t the original discussion. Under normal circumstances

I have never seen a doctor order or an insurance company approve for a Surviving social distancing one cat at a time shirt symptom free patient who is not on medications that need monitoring or for yearly physicals. As an insurance specialist, would you approve on a healthy symptom free patient, excluding Covid? It really wasn’t my intention to mislead. My post was in direct response to poster who said testing healthy people doesn’t happen. She didn’t clarify, but I’m sure she was waiting for you to jump in. Just because you didn’t do blood work on asymptomatic patients does not mean it doesn’t occur. People get screened for STD without having any symptoms, prior to or during relationships. You’d think you’d be familiar with self pay patients as well, but apparently you seem to believe that only insured patients get tests performed.
